DHS Offers Some Solutions for Batch Billing Issues
As you may be aware, the Department of Human Services (DHS) billing and payment system has been experiencing problems with batch billing. Essentially, while providers may be submitting a batch of claims correctly, the system may not account for all the claims. As a result, providers may not be fully reimbursed for the claims submitted. Providers that have been affected include care centers and Elderly Waiver providers.

Courage Center Receives $1.8 Million Innovation Grant from CMS
Aging Services of Minnesota could not be more proud to announce that Courage Center was one of just 26 organizations (out of a field of over 3,000 applicants) selected for a CMS Health Care Innovation Award. The three-year award will assist Courage Center in further developing and evaluating its patient-centered health care home for people living with disabilities.
